These terms apply to the Capstan Federal IT Brief, a weekly email newsletter published by Capstan Research ("we", "us"). By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

The service

The brief is a weekly email that filters and summarizes public federal IT contract notices from SAM.gov, including solicitations, early notices, and contract awards. Each item links to the official notice.

Information only

The brief is provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate, but summaries may contain errors or omissions, and notices can change after we publish. Always rely on the official notice on SAM.gov before making any decision. The brief is not legal, financial, or procurement advice.

No government affiliation

Capstan Research is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government agency. We do not bid, broker, or submit anything on your behalf.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions cost $29 per month or $290 per year and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing, and applicable sales tax. Polar's own terms also apply to your purchase.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Acceptable use

Your subscription is for you and your company's internal use. Please do not resell or republish the brief in bulk or share your subscription publicly.

Changes

We may update the brief or these terms. If we make a material change to pricing, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the brief is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
